The Centre for Community Networking Research, as part of the Centre for Organisational and Social Informatics (COSI), Caulfield School of Information Technology, at Monash University, aims to understand how communities and community organisations shape and are shaped by different social-technical relationships. We conduct both practical and theoretical research through funded research, PhD student research, and collaborations with colleagues at Monash, in Australia and internationally. CCNR also supports the yearly Community Informatics Research Network (CIRN) conferences at the Monash Centre, Prato, Italy.
